Configuring Backup Status Notifications for Your Datto SaaS Protection Jobs

To configure individual email notifications for each backup job in Datto SaaS Protection, follow these steps:

1. Access the SaaS Protection Status Page:

   • Log in to your Datto SaaS Protection account.
   • Navigate to the SaaS Protection Status page.

2. Configure the Daily Backup Success Report for Each Job:

   • On the Status page, click the settings icon (⚙️) and select Configure Daily Backup Report.
   • In the Organization dropdown, select the specific organization or job you want to configure.
   • Choose the appropriate Time Zone for the report.
   • In the Recipients field, enter the email address of the individual who should receive notifications for this job.
   • Click Add, then Submit to save the configuration.

Repeat this process for each backup job, specifying the corresponding recipient for each.

By setting up the Daily Backup Success Report for each job individually, you ensure that the designated person receives timely updates on the backup status, including successes and any issues that may arise.
