TimeMaster – Booking Link Setup & Requirements

Modified on Thu, Sep 11 at 1:39 PM

Overview

TimeMaster enables engineers to generate a booking link that streamlines scheduling with end users. When an end user uses the link:

  1. An event is automatically created in both the engineer’s and end user’s Microsoft 365 (Outlook) calendars.

  2. The scheduled event is documented in the associated ticket as a public note, including the link used.

To achieve this, both the PSA API connection and the Microsoft 365/Azure integration (for both your company and your clients) must be active and configured correctly.

Prerequisites

Before using TimeMaster booking links, ensure the following:

  • PSA API connection is enabled and operational.

  • Your company’s Microsoft 365/Azure integration is valid and operational.

  • Your client’s Microsoft 365/Azure integration is valid and operational.

  • Engineer email addresses in Invarosoft match exactly the Microsoft 365/Azure accounts.

Configuration Steps

1. Verify Company Integration

  1. Go to My Account >> My Account.

  2. Scroll down and identify your company record.

  3. Navigate to Clients >> Clients and confirm that the Azure integration is enabled and operational.

2. Verify Engineer Accounts

  1. Go to Clients >> Clients.

  2. Locate your company name and click [Users].

  3. Check that your engineer’s email address:

    • Has a blue pyramid icon next to it (indicates Azure sync is active).

    • Matches exactly the email address under My Account >> Portal Logins (grey bar).

⚠️ Important: The engineer’s portal login must use the same domain as your Microsoft 365/Azure integration.

3. Verify Client Integration

  1. Go to Clients >> Clients.

  2. Select the client record.

  3. Confirm the Azure integration is enabled and operational.

  4. Click [Users] and ensure the end user has a blue pyramid icon next to their PSA contact.

Troubleshooting

  • Engineer not showing in calendar?
Ensure the engineer’s portal login email matches the integrated domain.

  • End user not receiving invite?
Confirm the client’s Azure integration is active and the user has the blue pyramid.

  • Booking not appearing in ticket?
Double-check that the PSA API connection is operational.

Summary

For TimeMaster booking links to function:

  • PSA API + Microsoft 365/Azure integrations must be active.

  • Engineer and client users must be correctly synced (blue pyramid visible).

  • Email addresses must match across Invarosoft and Microsoft 365/Azure.

Once verified, TimeMaster will automatically sync events and keep tickets updated with the booking details.
