How to Authenticate a User

The guide "How to Authenticate a User" provides users with detailed instructions on the process of verifying user identities within a system. This guide ensures that you can securely and efficiently authenticate users, maintaining the integrity and security of your platform while providing a seamless experience for your users.

Step 1

Click on Agents >> Agents. 

Step 2

In the " Find Agent by" box, select "Agent Name".

Step 3

Enter the hostname of your device

Step 4

Click on the "Search" button. 

Step 5

Once you find your agent, click on the "Manage" Button.

* If you hover your mouse over the circle in "Last Sync," you can see the last connection time. The triangle next to it indicates that the device has not logged in for more than 30 days.

Step 6

In the new window, click on "Assign User"

Step 7

A pop-up will open. In this pop-up, you must choose the user that will use that device.

Click on the down arrow to display the drop-down list.

Step 8

Choose the user name to be assigned to that device. You can type part of the name to make your search easier.

Step 9

Once you find it, click on the name.

Step 10

Finally, click on the "Assign User" button.
